- Where is Piccard Jewelry Design Studio located?
- Piccard Jewelry Design Studio is at 1640 W Algonquin Road in Hoffman Estates, IL 60192, in the Chicagoland northwest suburbs. We are open Tuesday through Friday 10 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 4, with Sunday and Monday by appointment. Call 847-776-1100 to plan a visit.
- Does Piccard make custom engagement rings?
- Yes. Custom engagement rings are our specialty. We design your ring around your stone, budget, and ideas, show you a CAD rendering and a wax model before casting, then cast, polish, and set the ring by hand at our Hoffman Estates bench. You can bring your own diamond, natural or lab grown, or we can source one for you.
- Can you redesign or repair old and heirloom jewelry?
- We do both in house. Heirloom redesign rebuilds tired settings and resets your diamonds into a piece you will wear, and our repair work covers resizing, retipping prongs, rebuilding worn shanks, and full restoration. Your stones never leave our building during the work.
- How long has Piccard been in business?
- Since 1956. Piccard began with an Italian goldsmith and is now run by the second generation of the family, designing and making fine jewelry for the Chicagoland area from one bench in Hoffman Estates.
