From a goldsmith newly arrived from Italy to a second-generation studio in Hoffman Estates, the work has never left the family’s hands.

  1. 1956The first shop

    It began with an Italian goldsmith.

    Frank Campagna came to America from Italy a trained goldsmith and opened his first shop. With his wife Lucy, he started a family legacy built on patience, precision, and a refusal to cut corners, one of the finest hands in the trade.

  2. The Woodfield yearsTwo decades at the mall

    The next generation grew it.

    Their son Joseph took up the trade and grew the family business, running Piccard Jewelers in Woodfield Mall for more than twenty years and earning a clientele who came back across generations.

    Carried to a studio of our own.

    In 2005 Joseph moved the studio to Hoffman Estates, bringing the same quality of service and craftsmanship his clients had come to expect, now all under one roof on Algonquin Road.

    Designed, made, and set in house.

    Piccard staffs master jewelers and manufactures much of its own jewelry. New designs, repairs, and redesigns happen here at the bench, by the same hands that meet you across the counter.

We design and make it.
From sketch to CAD to wax to metal, every piece is fabricated and set at our own bench, never sent out.
We care for it.
Cleaning, resizing, and repair, handled by the same people who built the piece in the first place.
We carry it forward.
Redesigns of older jewelry and new commissions, for whatever the next milestone calls for.
